A Load of Croc?

Best thing since sliced bread? Or physical manifestation of all that is wrong with American fashion?

I think they're super cute on little kids, but only in the right colors. Earthy tones are ok with me. The rest just look kind of tacky--like pink princess sneakers with Cinderella on the side. I hear they're really comfortable, though.

But the real issue here is this: Will kids look back at this in 10 years and hate their parents for letting them wear something so...um...2000s (what the heck do we call this decade, anyway??) the way we look back on hammer pants?

I refuse to wear them. They look ridiculous on adults, but I did buy them for Mallory. She can put them on by herself and they wash so easily. She can wear them with or without socks - they're great for her.

Oh .. and I bought the fake ones from Target. I wouldn't actually buy the real ones when I can get the knock-offs for 4.99!

A hearty "Hear! Hear! from me! I think they're hideous (but Kraig wears "Chef crocs" to work, so I really have no room to talk...

Oh my goodness. We were in Truckee yesterday and a man (probably in his 40s) walked by in bright orange crocs with dark brown socks and shorts. As if socks with sandals weren't bad enough, he's wearing dark brown socks with bright orange crocs. I wish so badly that I had taken a picture for you.
