What's the ROI of My Shirt?

Since when does a dress shirt have a Return-On-Investment? Since "non-iron" or "wrinkle-free" works.

About six months ago a co-worker of mine ranted and raved about his Brooks Brothers non-iron shirts. They were really good-looking shirts, and I happened to be in the market, so I got a few. I ended up paying $70 per shirt. Ouch!

Today I pulled one of those shirts out of the closet and felt a calm, peaceful feeling come over me. Wrinkle-free is true. In that moment I also realized that, while expensive, the shirt had already paid for itself in the reduced ironing time and peace of mind that comes from it.

Of course, I probably didn't have to pay that much to get quality no-iron shirts (see link below), but it was still worth it.
